| The Health Data Research Service (HDRS) continues to move from planning into delivery, with major investment in new Data Driver Projects and Technical Transformation Projects designed to improve how researchers discover, access and use health data across the UK. These projects will help develop new services, tools and approaches to support more efficient and joined-up research.
TVS SDE has been actively involved in shaping the direction of HDRS and has been selected to lead on setting out a Blueprint for Regional SDEs, one of the funded Technical Transformation Projects. Working with partners across the SDE Network, the project will develop practical, reusable approaches for governance, technology and service delivery. For our partners, researchers and public contributors, this means the experience and learning developed within TVS SDE will help shape future national services, while ensuring that secure data access, public involvement and high-quality governance remain central to how health data research is delivered.
